Hi, I’m Brooke and I am the owner and founder of BKWed. BKwed was birthed in the fall of 2009 and has grown into something I honestly never set out for or imagined but I’m so thankful! I am the wife to an amazing man of 18 years and “mama” to three beautiful blessings... Cohen (15), Wells (12), and Coy (10). I have the privilege of serving with my husband in ministry at Church of the Highlands as campus pastors of the Fultondale campus and absolutely love every minute of it! When I’m not doing a wedding or dabbling in floral design you will probably find me at church, working out, camping with family and friends, perusing Target, TJ Maxx or HomeGoods or sitting on the porch of our farmhouse that we recently built. Hi, I'm Debbie and I'm pretty much responsible for BKWed as I birthed the owner! I  guess you could say that I'm the Mother of BKWed. Seriously, it is my pleasure to be able work alongside my daughter and for us to be known as a Mother/Daughter team.

I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 48 years. Besides Brooke we also have a son,Richard,who is actually 5 years older than Brooke. Richard is married to Lynette who also helps us from time to time. We have 5 AMAZING GRANDchildren, Cole (16) Cohen (15) Chase (14) Wells (12) and Coy (10).  They bring so much joy to our lives.

When I'm not working weddings, you'll probably find me with the computer in front of me as I do the business part of BKWed. Most times, I'm the first point of contact with the brides and their moms. When I'm not working for BKWed, I'm usually at a baseball field, a basketball court, a football field, a volleyball gym or a golf course watching grandchildren play their sports. I also like to garden and cook and travel with my hubby.

I enjoy getting to know our brides and their moms. I stay in touch with many of our former brides and with their moms. I  enjoy seeing them post about graduations, new jobs, their travels and their sweet additions to their families.
